About This Project

Winking Fish has provided promotional and onsite event support for the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund’s (CAF) Annual Symposium for more than a decade. Held in Boston every Fall, the 2016 Symposium took place at a new venue – The Boston Public Library. Winking Fish designed a suite of complementary print, online and environmental display materials for the event, including save-the-date postcards, invitations (both print and online versions), event programs, presentation templates, signage and web banners.

Unique to this Symposium are environmental display items used in the Library and at the event dinner. Due to the Library’s strict signage and display regulations, Winking Fish was tasked with creating CAF event messaging materials and signage that would not adhere to walls or interfere with other Library programming. To comply, while also drawing attention to CAF and promoting the Symposium, Winking Fish created towers of cubes with CAF and Alzheimer’s messages and branding. The towers were displayed in the primary congregational area for the Symposium, highlighting important facts and statistics, and also serving as conversation pieces.

Winking Fish also created the invitations and table displays for CAF’s Catalyst Society dinner. The theme of the dinner reflected the fall season so Winking Fish created table-top velum towers with an autumnal design and warm glow. The displays communicated the mission of the organization, while also fitting beautifully into the elegance of the evening.
